We are busy planning for Summer 2026 and look forward to welcoming students to Galway once again. We will not be excavating in 2026 (as we have moved into our post-excavation analysis and reporting phase for our excavation at Isert Kelly Castle) and so we offer just one course at present – our two-week Castles, Cloisters & Churches course, a field-based course which explores the architecture and archaeology of medieval and post-medieval Ireland. We will offer this course twice, in Session 1 (1 – 12 June) and Session 2 (29 June – 10 July), so if you would like to explore medieval castles, monasteries, churches and towns then check this course!
